Visitor Guidelines
※ If you arrive more than 15 minutes later than your reserved time, your reservation will be automatically canceled. Please arrive on time. If you expect to arrive late due to unavoidable circumstances, kindly contact us in advance via email.
※ Please be sure to bring earphones before the Self Guided Tour.
※ Lunch hours are from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM.
※ The doors are not self-opening. Please press the doorbell once only. Do not press multiple times.
※ Strollers are permitted; however, they cannot be brought inside and must be parked outside.
※ Large suitcases are generally not allowed. However, if you must bring one, please contact us in advance via email.
※ Please avoid touching the exhibits during your visit. Photography is permitted freely. However, filming can only be done with prior approval. Please request permission in advance if you wish to record videos.
※ Food and beverages are not allowed.
※ Backpacks are permitted. However, during self-guided tours, they should be stored in the Orientation Room.
※ Please note that parking is not available at the Old Korean Legation. If you plan to use public transportation, we recommend getting off at either McPherson Square Station or Shaw-Howard University Station.
※ For groups of 13 or more, we require email(info@oldkoreanlegation.org) notification before an appointment.
※ Reservations for next month’s tour will start on the third Friday of the preceding month.
※ Please check the email and website as the facility may close due to inclement weather or temporary holidays.
※ Old Korean Legation closes in observance of the holidays listed bellow.
