The Old Korean Legation Museum will temporarily reopen its door starting from October 2nd (Sat). Online reservation is required upon entering the museum, and visiting time limit for 30 minutes.

*Hours: Saturdays and Sundays from 12:00-3:00p.m. (Entry after 2:30 p.m. will not be permitted)

<Visitor Guidelines>

  • Please bring your ID to verify your admission
  • No more than 10 people in the group; please practice physical distancing by staying at least 6ft away from others
  • Docent-led tours are not available during this time. You will have up to 30-minutes in the museum.
  • Please plan to arrive on time; extensions cannot be made for late arrivals
  • Temperature check upon entering; visitors are required to wear masks while inside the Museum
  • Museum is obliged to collect and store the following visitor data: First and last name, address, date and time of visit and, if available, telephone number or e-mail address.
  • The data will be retained for a period of four weeks and then deleted.

The first and second floors were restored based on historical research, true to the original form of the late nineteenth century when the Korean legation was in operation, and the third floor was refurbished into an exhibition space intended to inform visitors on the history of Korea-U.S. relations and the Korean legation building. Online reservations are required for a guided tour of the legation building, and the admission fee is free of charge.
